The CCCF is Canada’s largest national, non-profit, charitable early learning and child care (ELCC) organisation that encourages members of, and advocates for, the ELCC sector, to join their membership. As a national organisation the CCCF has a broad, inclusive mission to, “achieve excellence in early learning and child care.”
The CCCF advocates for policies and practices that support high-quality early learning and child care by raising awareness of the importance of both the quality, as well as the accessibility, of early learning and child care environments for children.
As a member of the ELCC workforce, becoming a member of the CCCF gives you the opportunity to have your voice heard, and to advocate with a group of like-minded individuals.

In addition to the PL opportunities, the CCCF offers a range of resources, including publications, toolkits, and research. These resources aim to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the quality of child care services. Click here to access them.
Collaboration is an important tool for advocating for what our ELCC sector needs both here at home and across the country. A united ELCC workforce has a stronger voice when advocating for necessary resources, funding, and policy changes. By collaborating, we, as ECEs can more effectively communicate the importance of our work to policymakers, parents, and the wider community. CCCF provides our ELCC workforce with a platform that can unify our voices in a way that makes a stronger statement than if we were to do it alone.
